When to use a generic profile
These are OrcaSlicer's starting-point profiles for a printer it has no vendor profile for: a self-built machine, a heavily modified one, or a brand that is not in the catalog. Pick the one for your firmware: Klipper (the file then goes up through Mainsail or Fluidd), Marlin (SD card, USB or OctoPrint), RepRapFirmware (Duet Web Control) or Repetier, and the tool-changer profile for a multi-tool Klipper machine. The bed size and start and end G-code are OrcaSlicer's generic defaults, not your machine's: check that the part fits the volume below and that the start G-code suits your printer before the first print. If your printer's brand has a profile of its own, use that instead. The 5 generic profiles
Printable area, nozzle variants and layer heights come from each profile's OrcaSlicer profile. Where a profile has variants with different beds, each one is listed. Every profile has filament presets for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PC, PA, PA-CF.| Profile | Nozzles | Printable area | Layer heights | File |

Re-slicing the same file with other settings within 10 minutes is free.
