Describe a part. Download the STL.

SpeakCAD is AI CAD for 3D printing. Chat with it like a colleague who knows OpenSCAD, watch the model render live, and export a watertight STL or 3MF that goes straight into your slicer.

How it works

Type it. See it. Print it.

Three steps from idea to slicer, and every one of them happens in your browser.
Type what you need
Step 1

Type what you need

Describe the part: what it does, its dimensions, what it fits. Attach a photo or an STL if you have one.

See it render live

In seconds the model appears on a virtual print bed. Rotate it, check the dimensions, ask for changes.

Export STL or 3MF for one credit, slice it, print it. If the fit is off, fix it and re-download for free.
Features

Everything a functional print needs, nothing you have to learn

Built for brackets, enclosures, replacement parts, organizers and every other object that has to fit something.

Describe it, don’t draw it

Write what you need in plain English. Sizes, purpose, what it attaches to. The AI turns it into geometry.

Live 3D preview

The model compiles and renders in your browser in seconds. Orbit, zoom, check dimensions and volume.

Edit by chatting

“Make the walls 2 mm thicker.” “Add a cable slot underneath.” Each request updates the design in place.

STL and 3MF, print-ready

Manifold, watertight meshes in millimetres. Drop them straight into PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Cura or OrcaSlicer.

Designed for FDM by default

Minimum wall thickness, fit clearances, flat bottoms and no floating geometry, without asking.

Photos, sketches and STL references

Attach a picture of the broken part, a napkin sketch or an existing STL to build around.

How credits work

1 download = 1 creditGenerating, previewing and editing models is free and unlimited. You pay only when you export a design as STL or 3MF.
Fixes re-download freePrinted it and the hole is tight? Ask for the fix and download again at no cost. Both formats of a design cost one credit total.
New design = new creditA different object or a large redesign is a new download. The app tells you before you click whether an export is free.
FAQ

Questions, answered

SpeakCAD is an AI CAD tool for 3D printing. You describe a part in plain English (sizes, purpose, how it attaches), the AI writes a parametric 3D model, your browser renders it live, and you download a print-ready STL or 3MF file. Editing is done by chatting: “make the walls thicker”, “add two screw holes”.

No. If you can describe the object and measure it with a ruler or calipers, you can model it. There are no sketches, constraints or toolbars to learn. Engineers still use SpeakCAD as a fast first draft or for simple brackets and adapters.

Every account starts with 5 free credits. One download (STL or 3MF) costs one credit, and one credit is one US dollar. Bulk packs are cheaper: 20 credits for $18, 50 for $40, 100 for $70. Generating, previewing and editing models is free and unlimited.

No. Come back to the model, ask for the fix (“the hole needs to be 0.4 mm wider”) and download again for free. A credit is only charged when the design changes substantially: a new object, a different overall shape, or edits the AI flags as a major redesign. Downloading the same design in both STL and 3MF also costs a single credit.

Binary STL and 3MF. Both open directly in PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, Cura and every other mainstream slicer. 3MF keeps the millimetre unit and the model name embedded, so nothing is lost on import.

Yes. Models are built with solid CSG geometry (booleans on closed solids) and exported as manifold meshes, so slicers do not need repair. The AI also follows FDM design rules by default: minimum wall thickness, clearances for fits, parts resting flat on the bed.
