Compartments from a description
Say how many compartments you need and either their sizes or a ratio; the AI computes the divider positions with consistent wall thickness. Ask for finger notches, rounded inside corners for easy cleaning, or a slight taper so trays stack.
Fits standard systems
Want compatibility with a grid storage system you already use? Give the base unit (for example 42 mm squares) and SpeakCAD sizes the footprint to multiples of it, with a lip for stacking.
Tips for fast, strong prints
- 1.2 mm walls print in two perimeters and are plenty for light contents; ask for 1.6 to 2 mm for tool trays.
- Rounded internal corners reduce print time and stop dust accumulating.
- A 0.6 mm chamfer at the bottom edge avoids elephant's foot and lets trays slide in.
