IKEA SKÅDIS accessories: 100 3D printable holders for the gear you own

Battery racks, drill holsters, plier racks, headphone hangers, controller cradles and paint racks, each shaped around one real product and hung on standard SKÅDIS hooks.

Four IKEA SKÅDIS holders designed in SpeakCAD on a pegboard background: a Knipex Cobra pliers rack, an AirPods Max hanger, a Dremel bit rack and a WD-40 can holder
SpeakCAD has 100 ready-made IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard holders, each shaped around one real product: battery racks for DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, Bosch packs, holsters for drills and impact drivers, racks for Wera and Knipex tools, hangers for AirPods Max and Sony headphones, cradles for DualSense, Switch 2 and Steam Deck, Bambu Lab plate holders and paint racks. Every model hangs on the standard SKÅDIS hooks (5 × 15 mm slots, 40 mm apart, 5 mm board), costs 2 credits, and opens in the browser editor where every size is a number you can change before you download the STL, the 3MF or G-code sliced for your printer.

How it works

From the list to a holder on the board

Measure the thing it holds before you print: a 5.0 Ah battery is taller than a 2.0 Ah one, a phone in a case is thicker than without. That number is the difference between a holder that clicks in and one that rattles.
1

Pick the holder for your product

100 models in 4 groups, each named after the product it fits. Open its page to see the picture, the size and turn it around in 3D.
2

Get it and check the fit

Get it for 2 credits: it opens in your account's editor. Tap a face to read its size and compare it with your tool. The pocket width, the slot, the clearance and the back plate are named parameters: type your number, the model updates in a second.
3

Download STL, 3MF or G-code

Download the STL or 3MF for your slicer, or G-code sliced with the official profile of one of 380+ printers (Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Elegoo, Anycubic…).
4

Print it standing, hang it

Each model prints standing as it hangs, so the layers run the strong way through the hooks. The two hook tips may want a small tree support. PETG for batteries, drills and anything heavy; PLA is fine for desk items.

Each prompt opens the editor with the description typed. Change the numbers to your tool's first.

“An IKEA SKADIS holder for my cordless glue gun: a cradle 32 mm wide and 60 mm deep with a 12 mm slot for the nozzle at the front, a 4 mm back plate 80 × 70 mm, two SKADIS hooks 40 mm apart at the top for the 5 × 15 mm slots of the 5 mm board and an anti-swing pin 20 mm lower, 2.4 mm PETG walls”

How to choose a SKÅDIS holder that holds

  • Measure the product, not the photo. Battery packs change height with capacity (a DeWalt 5.0 Ah is taller than a 2.0 Ah), plier handles change with the coating, phones and controllers change with a case. Every holder lists the size it was made for.
  • Count the hooks. Light items (a pen rack, an AirPods case) hang on two hooks. Batteries, drills, multimeters and spool arms use two hooks at the top and pins in the staggered row below, so the part cannot swing out when you pull a tool.
  • PETG for weight, PLA for desks. PLA creeps under a constant load and softens in a hot garage; PETG does not. Use 4 walls on battery racks and drill holsters.
  • Print standing. The models are drawn in the pose they hang, bottom on the bed: the layers run across the hooks, which is the strong direction.

Ready-made, resized or your own

Take the ready-made holder when your product is in the list: it is a real model with a picture and a size, not a prompt. If your version is different (an older battery, a thicker case, two tools instead of one), open it and change the pocket number before you download. If nothing in the list is close, describe your holder to the AI with the measurement that decides the fit, or start from the holder generator. Already have a SKÅDIS STL that almost fits? Upload it and change it: a wider slot, a deeper pocket, a hole for a cable.

Why not just scale a download?

Scaling a pegboard part in the slicer scales its hooks with it: at 110 % the 4.6 mm stem becomes 5.1 mm and no longer goes into a 5 mm slot. The SpeakCAD models keep the hook numbers fixed and change only the part that holds your product.

What it costs

Each SKÅDIS model is 2 credits, and the STL and 3MF downloads of your copy are included. Shaping a part by hand in the editor is free; a new holder described to the AI is 4 credits on a plan, 3 without one. Maker gives 50 credits a month for $7.99, cancel anytime.

Questions

The slots are 5 mm wide and 15 mm tall, 40 mm apart centre to centre in a row, and each row is staggered 20 mm down and 20 mm sideways from the one above. The fibreboard is 5 mm thick. Measured boards run about 5.2 × 15.2 mm, so a printed hook stem of 4.6 mm slides in without force.

Yes: racks for DeWalt 20V MAX, Milwaukee M18 and M12, Makita 18V LXT, Ryobi ONE+, Bosch Professional 18V, Metabo CAS, Einhell Power X-Change, Parkside X20V, Worx PowerShare, Black+Decker, Hilti Nuron and Festool 18V packs. The slide-on racks copy the pack's own rail, so the battery slides in as it does on the tool. Measure your rail first: the rail width is a parameter you can change in the editor.

Yes, printed in PETG with 4 walls and with the hooks at the top and pins in the row below, which is how the drill holsters are drawn. The weight pulls the hooks against the solid board and the pins stop the holster from tipping out. PLA works for a few hundred grams but creeps over months under a heavy tool.

PETG for batteries, drills, multimeters, spool holders and anything in a garage that gets hot. PLA for pens, AirPods, controllers and other light desk items.

Yes. Every model is a SpeakCAD program with named sizes (pocket width, depth, slot, clearance, back plate). Open it, tap a face to read its size, type your number and the part updates in about a second, then download it. The hook sizes stay fixed so it still fits the board.
