MakerLab is the set of tools inside MakerWorld, Bambu Lab's model site: AI image-to-3D with several engines (Meshy, Tripo, Hunyuan 3D and others), statue and keychain generators, and non-AI template tools such as a parametric model maker, a desk organizer maker and lithophanes. It is built around Bambu Lab printers and multicolour prints. Two different jobs
MakerLab answers "I want to print this": a pet from a photo, a statue of a friend, a keychain with a logo, a lithophane, a box from a template. It does that well, and it hands the result straight to Bambu Studio with the colours sorted out. The AI part of it is generative: it imagines a shape from an image, and the dimensions are whatever you scale it to.
SpeakCAD answers "I need a part that fits": a bracket for a 28 mm pipe, a lid for a 62.4 mm jar, an enclosure for a board with its screw holes in the right place. It computes the geometry from your numbers, so the part comes out at the size you asked for.
Where MakerLab wins
- Figurines, gifts and decor from a single photo, with several AI engines to choose from.
- Multicolour models ready for Bambu's AMS.
- Free tools. Many template tools cost nothing, and a new account gets free Image-to-3D tries.

Using both
