Three steps from the file to the printer
The slicing runs on the same OrcaSlicer engine and presets as the desktop app, on our slicer service, so the browser only has to show the model and take your choices.Pick your printer
Choose the model and the nozzle among 380+ printers from 60+ brands. The box says whether the part fits the bed.Sign up and slice
Create the account (no card): the file and the printer are waiting in the slicer. Set layer height, filament, infill and supports, press Slice, and the G-code downloads with the print time and filament weight. Other settings on the same file within 10 minutes spend nothing.Profiles for 380+ printers
Every printer OrcaSlicer 2.4.2 bundles a profile for: bed size, nozzles, start and end G-code, speed limits and filament presets as the manufacturer ships them. Bambu Lab printers get a sliced .gcode.3mf, every other brand a plain .gcode.What comes back
- A .gcode for your printer, or a sliced .gcode.3mf for Bambu Lab: the file the printer runs from its SD card, USB stick, app or web upload page.
- The estimated print time, the filament in grams and metres, the layer count, and whether supports were added and what they weigh.
- Your printer's own OrcaSlicer 2.4.2 profile: bed size, start G-code, speeds and temperatures as the manufacturer ships them, plus the layer height, filament, infill, supports, speed, walls, bed adhesion and orientation you choose.
- The screen previews the printer's profile asks for, embedded in the file.
What a slice costs
The online slicer gives every account 1 free slice, its first (a free account, no card). After that, a slice uses one slice from a Slicer pack (20 slices for $3, once, never expire) or 5 credits, and slicing is included in Pro and Unlimited. Re-slicing the same file with other settings within 10 minutes is free. Slicer pack slices work only in the online slicer. Starter credits ($5 once, 50 credits, no subscription) also pay for 10 slices. Pro ($14.99 a month) and Unlimited ($39.99 a month) include slicing. On every plan, an account can start up to 60 slices a day.Pricing →Need to change the part first?
The slicer prints the model as it is. If a hole is too small, the part is 5 mm too wide or it needs a mount, SpeakCAD's AI editor rebuilds an STL as an editable model with exact millimetres; and with no file at all, you describe the part and the AI designs it. Both download G-code sliced for the same 380+ printers.Questions
No. The file opens in 3D on this page, in your browser, with its size in millimetres, and the box tells you whether it fits the printer you pick. An account (no card) is needed to slice, because the slicing runs on the slicer service. Your first slice is free.
Nothing until you press the button: the file stays in your browser. Then it is packed as a compressed 3MF and put in private storage so it is there after sign-up; it waits until you open it in the slicer, for 24 hours at most, and opening it deletes it. When you slice, the file goes from your browser straight to the slicer service, is sliced in a temporary folder deleted when the job ends, and is not kept.
380+ printer models from 60+ brands: every printer OrcaSlicer 2.4.2 bundles a profile for, including Bambu Lab (12), Prusa (13), Creality (41), Elegoo (18), Anycubic (20), Voron (8), Qidi (11), Sovol (13), Snapmaker, Flashforge, RatRig and Artillery. The full list is on SpeakCAD's printers page.
A sliced .gcode.3mf, the file Bambu Lab printers print from the microSD card and that Bambu Studio sends over the network. Every other brand gets a plain .gcode file.
Partly: 1 free slice with a free account, no card. It does not renew. After that, a slice uses one slice from a Slicer pack (20 slices for $3, once, never expire) or 5 credits, and slicing is included in Pro ($14.99 a month) and Unlimited ($39.99 a month). Re-slicing the same file with other settings within 10 minutes spends nothing. It is not unlimited: an account can start up to 60 slices a day. If you slice often on a computer, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura are free desktop apps.
Yes. Open the online slicer in Safari, choose the STL or 3MF from Files, pick your printer and download the G-code to Files. From there it goes to the printer's app, its web upload page or an SD card reader. Nothing to install.
Yes. Re-slicing the same file with other settings within 10 minutes of a slice spends nothing; after that, a new slice counts as another slice: the account's free slice if it is still unused, then a Slicer pack slice or 5 credits, included in Pro and Unlimited.
No, it prints the model as it is. To change it (a bigger hole, another size, a mount), SpeakCAD's AI editor rebuilds an STL as an editable model with exact millimetres; to make a new part, describe it and the AI designs it. Both download G-code for the same 380+ printers.
