Mouse bungee with weighted base

A desk accessory that lifts a wired mouse cable off the mat so it never snags or drags. A flexible arm 120 mm tall ends in a 6 mm clip with 0.3 mm clearance for the cable, and the heavy base is a 90 mm disc 15 mm thick with a hollow underside that accepts steel washers for weight before a snap-in cover closes it. The arm is 2 mm thick so it flexes and springs back; print it upright with the arm vertical.

Cable thickness and preferred arm height are personal, so a bungee generated in SpeakCAD around your mouse cable diameter holds without pinching or slipping. Look at it in the browser for free, shorten the arm or widen the weight cavity in a follow-up, and download the STL when it suits your desk layout.
