Milwaukee Packout tool box latch replacement

A replacement for the front latch on Milwaukee Packout tool boxes and organizers, which snaps when the box is dropped on the latch face. The latch is 45 mm wide and 60 mm tall with a 2.5 mm wall, a 5 mm pivot pin bore that presses onto the box's moulded pin with 0.2 mm clearance, and a 4 mm hook that engages the lid's catch rail. A living hinge is avoided; instead the latch relies on a 1.2 mm flex tab that gives the click. Print it lying on its back in PETG or nylon with 5 perimeters so the hook is strong across the layers, using supports only under the pivot bosses.

Milwaukee does not sell single latches and warranty means shipping the whole box. In SpeakCAD you describe your box model, preview the latch in the browser without paying, adjust the hook depth in the chat, and download the STL.
