Vented housing for a temperature and humidity sensor
A louvred shell for a DHT22, BME280 or similar sensor that shields it from direct light and drips while letting air circulate, so readings reflect the room rather than the electronics. The body is a 40 x 30 x 60 mm tube with angled 1.2 mm louvres at 4 mm pitch on all four sides, an internal shelf for the sensor board with 0.5 mm clearance and a 5 mm cable exit at the bottom. A hanging tab with a 4 mm hole lets it mount on a nail or screw.
Shelf position, cable exit and louvre density all depend on your sensor and where it lives, and SpeakCAD sets them from your description. Preview the housing free in the browser, then ask for a wall bracket, a rain hood or a version sized for an ESP board.
Design a vented sensor housing 40x30x60 mm with 1.5 mm walls. Angled louvres 1.2 mm thick at 4 mm pitch, sloped 30 degrees downward. Internal shelf 14 mm high for a 25x15 mm sensor board with 0.5 mm clearance. 5 mm cable hole below, top tab with 4 mm hole.
