Project box with sliding lid, 100 x 60 x 30 mm
A general purpose electronics box with a lid that slides in along dovetail grooves, avoiding screws and giving quick access to whatever is inside. The outer size is 100 x 60 x 30 mm with 2 mm walls, and the grooves are 1.2 mm wide with 0.2 mm clearance so the lid glides without rattling. A bump at the closed end gives a tactile click, and 3 mm corner standoffs take a PCB. Blank walls make it easy to specify a DC jack hole, a switch cut-out or a cable slot before printing.
Boxes this size exist in stores, but they never have openings where you need them; SpeakCAD punches the exact holes you describe and sets standoffs on your board's pattern. Preview free in the browser and change the lid direction, wall thickness or overall size in the chat.
