Bracket to fit a 2.5 inch SSD in a 3.5 inch bay

A rail-style bracket that positions a 2.5 inch SSD inside a 3.5 inch drive bay so the case's standard screws or tool-less clips engage. The frame is 101.6 mm wide and 147 mm long to match the 3.5 inch form factor, with side rails carrying bay holes at 41.6 mm from the front and 101.6 mm apart, plus a recessed pocket where the SSD screws in from underneath on its 76.6 x 61.7 mm hole pattern. Walls of 3 mm and an open centre keep it light and airy.

Many cases have odd screw positions or need the drive offset toward the connector side; with SpeakCAD you specify those offsets rather than filing a downloaded bracket. Ask for the SSD shifted 10 mm, or for two stacked drives, and preview each version free before spending credits.
