Raised bed corner connector

Timber raised beds are quickest to build when the boards slot into corner connectors instead of being screwed at awkward angles. This connector accepts two 150 x 25 mm boards at 90 degrees in 26 mm wide, 60 mm deep pockets, with 4 mm walls, screw holes per pocket, a stacking peg on top and a matching socket underneath so beds can be built two boards high. Print it upright in PETG or ASA with 5 walls; PLA will not survive wet soil and summer heat.

Board sizes differ by region and supplier, so SpeakCAD sizes the pockets to the timber you actually bought, and can produce a three-way or angled version for hexagonal beds. Iterate in the chat until the layout suits your plot, all in the free browser preview.

Design a raised bed corner connector for two boards 150 mm tall and 25 mm thick meeting at 90 degrees: pockets 26 x 60 mm and 150 mm tall, 4 mm walls, four 5 mm screw holes per side, a 20 mm stacking peg on top and matching socket below.

Change any number to match what you measured. The AI keeps the rest of the design consistent, and small follow-up edits after a download are free.
