Tent stake puller hook for MSR Groundhog stakes
A palm-sized hook that slides under the notched head of an MSR Groundhog, Mini Groundhog or any Y-beam stake and pulls it out of packed ground without bending the stake or cutting your fingers on the cord loop. The hook has a 6 mm wide, 10 mm deep throat for the 5 mm stake neck, a 70 mm T-handle with 25 mm diameter grip ends, 8 mm wall thickness and a 5 mm hole for a lanyard. Print it on its side in PETG or ASA at 60 percent infill so the throat is strong along the pull direction.
Stake heads differ between Groundhog, Nemo Airpin and Big Agnes Dirt Dagger designs, so a generic puller slips off. Tell SpeakCAD the neck width and head shape of your stakes, preview the puller free in the browser, adjust the handle size in the chat, then download the STL and add it to the tent bag.
Model a tent stake puller with a T-shaped handle 70 mm wide and 25 mm in diameter at the ends, a 30 mm shank and a hook with a 6 mm wide, 10 mm deep throat and 8 mm walls, a 5 mm lanyard hole and 2 mm rounded edges throughout.
