Ironing board leg end cap
Ironing board feet wear through and the bare steel tube scratches floors and slides on tile. A replacement cap fits a 22 mm round leg tube, extending 25 mm past the end with a 3 mm wall, three thin crush ribs for an interference fit, and an angled base that matches the leg splay so the whole foot touches the ground. Print it opening-up in TPU for grip or PETG for durability, with a 2 mm rounded base edge.
Leg tubes come in many sizes and angles, and SpeakCAD models the cap to your tube dimensions and the splay angle you measure, so the board stops rocking. Request a wider footprint or a felt recess for wooden floors in one more message. Trying the model is free in the browser.
Design an ironing board leg end cap for a 22 mm round tube: 45 mm tall with a 22.2 mm bore 25 mm deep and three 0.3 mm crush ribs, 3 mm walls, a base angled 20 degrees to sit flat with a splayed leg, and 2 mm rounded edges.
