Downspout splash diverter

A downspout that empties straight onto the soil erodes a hole and splashes the wall. This diverter slides over a 65 mm round downspout end and spreads the flow across a 250 mm wide fan with low ribs that break up the stream. It is 200 mm long with 3 mm walls, an interference collar with a screw hole for security, and a 5 degree slope to keep water moving. Print it collar-down in ASA or PETG, which shrug off UV and frost.

Downspout profiles differ by house, and SpeakCAD sizes the collar to yours so it stays on in a storm. Extend the fan, add a hinge so it lifts for mowing, or request a rain-barrel diverter variant, all in the same conversation. Preview free in your browser.

Create a downspout splash diverter for a 65 mm round downspout: a 66 mm inner collar 40 mm long with a 5 mm screw hole, opening into a 200 mm fan widening to 250 mm, 3 mm walls, six 3 mm tall flow ribs, and a 5 degree downward slope.

Change any number to match what you measured. The AI keeps the rest of the design consistent, and small follow-up edits after a download are free.
