Hose reel side cover latch

Wall-mounted hose reels keep their spool cover on with a rotating latch that fatigues in sunlight and snaps, letting the cover flap loose. The latch is a 40 mm lever 12 mm wide with a 6 mm pivot hole, a 3 mm hook that engages the cover rim, and a small detent bump that holds it closed. Print it flat at 100 percent infill in ASA or PETG, which resist UV far better than PLA, and fillet the hook root where the original cracked.

Describe the pivot diameter and the hook reach of your reel to SpeakCAD and it generates a latch for that model, saving a search through obsolete part numbers. If it feels loose, adjust the detent height in the chat and regenerate. Generating and previewing costs nothing.
