Filament spool hub adapter for 52 mm bores

A pair of hub inserts that centre a filament spool with a large 52 mm bore on a slim holder rod so it turns smoothly instead of wobbling and tangling. Each insert is a cone with a 51.6 mm shoulder, a 12 mm spigot that presses into the spool bore and a central hole for your rod, commonly 8, 10 or 12 mm, with 0.3 mm clearance. Six radial ribs keep the cone rigid, and a chamfer at the rod hole eases fitting. Print with the flat shoulder down.
