Desktop microphone shock mount ring
A shock mount isolates a condenser microphone from desk thumps and keyboard rumble that travel up the arm. The design uses an outer ring of 90 mm diameter and 15 mm height, an inner cradle sized for a 48 mm microphone body, eight hook points for elastic cord, and a 5/8-27 or 3/8 threaded boss on a bracket at the bottom. Ring walls of 3 mm and 2 mm fillets at the hook bases prevent cracking when the elastic is stretched, and the two rings print flat without supports.
Mic diameters range from 22 mm pencil condensers to 55 mm large-diaphragm bodies, so a mount generated in SpeakCAD to your mic's exact size grips properly. Change the ring gap or thread standard in the chat, then preview free in the browser.
Design a microphone shock mount with a 90 mm outer ring 15 mm tall with 3 mm walls, an inner ring with a 48.5 mm bore, eight 4 mm elastic hook posts per ring, and a lower bracket with a 16 mm boss bored for a 5/8-27 thread insert.
