Brompton handlebar mount for Garmin Edge computers
Brompton M and S bars have a 22.2 mm grip section and very little real estate once the brake levers and shifter are on, so a normal out-front mount does not fit and interferes with the fold. This compact mount clamps the 22.2 mm bar with a single M5 bolt, offsets a Garmin quarter-turn socket 20 mm inward toward the stem and tilts it 10 degrees toward the rider. The clamp is 12 mm wide with 3 mm walls, the socket has the four Garmin tabs with 0.2 mm clearance, and it prints on its side in PETG for a strong hinge area.
A downloaded mount for a 31.8 mm bar simply will not close on a Brompton, and shimmed ones slip. In SpeakCAD you give the exact bar diameter, the offset that clears your levers and the tilt you want, preview it free in the browser, adjust in the chat, then download the STL.
