SpeakCAD for the Bambu Lab P1P

Custom parts for the Bambu Lab P1P: describe them, download a .gcode.3mf sliced for it

The open-frame CoreXY Bambu: the P1S motion system without the enclosure, and printed side panels as the classic first project. SpeakCAD ships the Bambu Lab P1P's own OrcaSlicer profile: describe a part in plain English, watch it render on a virtual 256 x 256 mm bed, edit it by chat, and download a sliced .gcode.3mf, the file Bambu printers read from the microSD card and that Bambu Studio sends over the network. Or take the STL or 3MF to your usual slicer. Runs in Safari and Chrome, on a phone or a computer, nothing to install.

Free, no card: the live demo (3 AI edits) and 650+ ready-made models. Your own part: 2 credits per AI request, 50 credits for $5 once.

How it works

From a sentence to the P1P's microSD card

The slicer runs on our side with the same profiles OrcaSlicer ships for the Bambu Lab P1P. You choose the print profile and the filament; the printer settings are already right.
1

Describe the part with its measurements

Type what you need, the sizes in millimetres and what it has to fit or attach to. FDM design rules (wall thickness, clearances, a flat base) are applied for you.
2

Check it on the P1P's bed

The part renders on a virtual bed the size of the P1P's. The first render usually appears within a minute or two: a new part gets deeper reasoning through the geometry, and small edits land in seconds. Turn it, tap a face to read a size, open the dimensions panel, and see whether it has overhangs that need supports. Anything wrong is one sentence to fix.
3

Pick the Bambu Lab P1P and its profile

In the download dialog choose the Bambu Lab P1P (0.2 nozzle, 0.4 nozzle, 0.6 nozzle, 0.8 nozzle), one of its print profiles (0.06 mm, 0.08 mm, 0.1 mm, 0.12 mm…), a filament, then infill, walls, supports and adhesion. The printer and its last settings are saved to your account.
4

Download and print

You get a sliced .gcode.3mf, the file Bambu printers read from the microSD card and that Bambu Studio sends over the network, with the estimated print time and filament weight. Re-slicing a design you already downloaded does not spend the 10 credits again; without Pro or Unlimited each slice still spends 5 credits.

Why P1P owners do not need a slicer on the phone

Slicing is the step that keeps 3D printing on the desktop: a design made anywhere still has to pass through Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer or Cura on a computer. SpeakCAD runs OrcaSlicer on its own servers with the profile OrcaSlicer ships for the Bambu Lab P1P, so the phone that typed the description also downloads a .gcode.3mf. The desktop slicer stays the better choice for arranging many parts on one bed or for exotic settings; for one part at a time, the download dialog covers the profile, the filament, infill, walls, supports and adhesion.

Slice your own STL for the P1P

Already have the file, a Printables or MakerWorld download or a part from your own CAD? The online slicer slices an STL or 3MF of up to 50 MB with the same Bambu Lab P1P profile, without the AI: layer heights from 0.06 to 0.56 mm across its nozzles, filament presets for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PC, PA, PA-CF, infill, supports, walls and bed adhesion. You download a sliced .gcode.3mf for the microSD card or Bambu Studio, with the print time and filament weight. The online slicer gives every account 1 free slice, its first (a free account, no card). After that, a slice uses one slice from a Slicer pack (20 slices for $3, once, never expire) or 5 credits, and slicing is included in Pro and Unlimited. Re-slicing the same file with other settings within 10 minutes is free. Open the online slicer.

Parts that fit the P1P

The Bambu Lab P1P's 256 x 256 mm bed and 250 mm height are what the virtual bed in the viewer shows, so a part that looks too big is too big. Ask for a part to be split into two halves with alignment pins when it does not fit, or for a flat print orientation when it would need supports. The examples above and the library parts below all fit.

Parts that fit the first time

The Bambu Lab P1P prints slightly differently from the next printer, which is why holes come out tight and lids loose. Fit Check cuts a five-minute test slice from the interface that must fit, you report too tight, perfect or too loose, and every model after that is built with the clearance your P1P needs. The test slice downloads free as STL or 3MF. How Fit Check works.

Questions

Yes. The Bambu Lab P1P is one of the 380+ printers in the slicer catalog, with 4 nozzle variants and the print and filament profiles OrcaSlicer ships for it. Pick it in the download dialog and download a .gcode.3mf; it is saved to your account for next time.

No. SpeakCAD slices on its servers and gives you a .gcode.3mf. Copy it to the P1P's microSD card and start it from the printer's screen, or open it in Bambu Studio and send it over the network. If you prefer your own slicer, download the STL or 3MF instead.

The print profile (layer height and speed presets from the Bambu Lab P1P's profile), the filament profile (the printer's own and the OrcaSlicer library: Generic PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, carbon-fibre blends and hundreds of branded filaments), infill, wall count, supports and bed adhesion. Nozzle temperature, bed temperature and speeds come from the profiles you pick.

The virtual bed in the viewer is sized from the Bambu Lab P1P's profile (256 x 256 mm), so you see it before slicing. Ask for the part to be split into two pieces with alignment pins or a dovetail, or for a different orientation; each is one sentence.

Sliced downloads are included in Pro ($14.99 a month, 200 credits) and Unlimited ($39.99 a month); with Starter credits ($5 once for 50 credits, no subscription) a sliced download spends 5 credits on top of the usual 10. Re-slicing a design you already downloaded does not spend the 10 credits again; without Pro or Unlimited each slice still spends 5 credits. STL and 3MF downloads are always available.

Yes. Upload the STL or 3MF (up to 50 MB) to SpeakCAD's online slicer, pick the Bambu Lab P1P, choose the layer height, filament, infill and supports, and download a sliced .gcode.3mf. It slices with the same OrcaSlicer profile as the editor's G-code download, in the browser on a computer, a Chromebook, an iPad or a phone.

Yes. The editor runs in Safari on iPhone and iPad and in Chrome on Android; the file lands in Files or Downloads, ready for the card or the printer's app. The same project opens later on a desktop.
