Tube reducer sleeve, 25 mm to 22 mm

A stepped sleeve that lets a 22 mm tube plug into the end of a 25 mm tube, useful for extending a curtain pole, joining two lengths of aluminium tubing or fitting a smaller foot onto a larger leg. The outer section is 24.8 mm in diameter with four compression slots so it presses into the 25 mm tube with light friction, and the inner bore is 22.2 mm to accept the smaller tube. A 3 mm web separates the tubes and a shoulder ring keeps the sleeve from disappearing inside.

Give SpeakCAD your measured inner and outer diameters and how deep each tube should sit, and it produces a sleeve that fits without shims or tape. Preview free in your browser and ask for a grub screw hole, a solid plug or a version for square tubing.
