Osprey backpack sternum strap buckle replacement

The sliding sternum strap buckle on Osprey Talon, Stratos and Atmos packs (and similar Deuter and Gregory ones) rides along a webbing rail and cracks after a few seasons. This replacement has a 20 mm wide, 2 mm thick webbing channel that slides on the rail, a side-release male or female half with 1.5 mm spring arms, and a 0.3 mm clearance so it glides without slop. Print it flat in PETG or nylon at 0.12 mm layers so the spring arms are smooth and strong; PLA will snap.

Strap widths run 15, 20 and 25 mm across pack brands, and rail thickness differs, so downloaded buckles rarely slide or click properly.
