A real jack-o'-lantern, door sign, cookie cutter and door hook, in the same editor as the app. Turn it around, tap a number to change it (the tea light size, the text, the door thickness), or ask the AI for a change: 3 AI edits are free here. From an idea to a decoration on the bed
Measure the thing it must fit first: the tea light, the door, the belt, the post. That number is the whole difference between a download and a part that fits.Measure
A ruler is enough: the tea light across, the door's thickness, the belt's width, the post's side. Write it in millimetres.Describe it, or shape it by hand
Type what you want with that number ("a jack-o'-lantern cover for a 38 mm tea light, 2 mm walls"), one AI request (3 credits). Or start from the box, the plate or the cylinder shape and cut a face, add text and holes with the hand tools, free.Check it in 3D, change it
Turn it around, tap a face to read its size, and say what to change: wider eyes, a thinner strap, the name bigger. A changed size is a quick edit (1 credit); typing a number in the viewer spends nothing.Print it tonight

Download or design?
Download a Halloween STL when any size will do: a skull for the shelf, an articulated dragon. Design it when it must fit something: a lantern over your tea light, a hook over your door, a cutter with a name. Scaling a download in the slicer scales the opening, the slot and the wall with it, so it rarely fits. Found a model that is almost right? Upload the STL and change it: a bigger opening, a hole for a ribbon, a flat base.
Safety in three lines
- LED tea lights only in printed lanterns: PLA softens around 60 °C and burns.
- Cookie cutters: wash right after use in warm water, no dishwasher, no food storage in printed parts.
- Outdoors: PETG for stakes and hooks that carry weight; PLA creeps.
What it costs
Until 2 November, the code SPOOKY40 takes 40% off the first month of any plan (first subscription): visit this page and it applies itself at checkout, or type it on the payment page. Start with Maker: 50 credits a month for $7.99, cancel anytime. Shaping a part by hand and downloading it are free. A new free account also gets its first AI part free (not offered in every country): some accounts get the credits right away, others confirm with a card first (a free trial, nothing charged that day); downloading the part spends 4 credits without a plan, like any AI work (every plan includes downloads). No printer? Get it printed and delivered from $1.19 plus shipping, about 2 to 3 weeks: order before the last week of October.
Questions
Lantern covers for LED tea lights, door and yard signs, cookie cutters, hooks and clips for lights and decorations, costume buckles, badges and mask parts, and replacement parts for decorations that broke. The ones that must fit something are worth designing from your measurements in SpeakCAD, on a phone or a computer.
Yes: the code SPOOKY40 takes 40% off the first month of Maker, Pro or Unlimited for a first subscription, until 2 November 2026. It applies itself at checkout after you visit a Halloween page of speakcad.com, and can be typed on the payment page. The hand tools are free without it.
Yes. SpeakCAD runs in Safari on iPhone and in Chrome on Android, nothing to install: shape the part with the hand tools or describe it to the AI, and download the STL, the 3MF or G-code for your printer.
Stylised ones, yes: it sculpts simple figures (a skull, a ghost, a bat, horns) in its own CAD, printable and recognisable. For a detailed, scan-quality sculpture, download one from a model site and use SpeakCAD to resize it or add a base, a hole or a mount.
No, only an LED tea light or LED candle. PLA softens around 60 °C and PETG around 80 °C, and both burn.
