Junction box with gasket groove for outdoor use
A small outdoor box for joining low-voltage cables, sensors or LED drivers where rain must stay out. The body has 3 mm walls, a 2 mm wide and 1.5 mm deep groove around the rim for an O-ring cord or silicone bead, and a lid with a matching tongue that compresses the seal when four M4 screws are tightened into corner bosses. Cable entries are 12 mm holes for PG7 glands, and internal standoffs support a terminal strip. Print in PETG or ASA, open side up.
SpeakCAD lets you set the number and position of gland holes, the internal size for your terminal block and the screw layout, instead of drilling a downloaded box. The preview is free in your browser; request bigger glands, a mounting flange or a clear-window lid recess in the chat.
