Vacuum cleaner hose end cuff

The cuff where a vacuum hose meets the wand or floor head cracks from years of twisting, and once it splits the suction leaks away. A replacement cuff is a two-diameter sleeve: one end grips the hose ribs, typically 38 mm, and the other slides into a 35 mm tool port with a slight taper for a snug friction fit. Length is around 60 mm with 2.5 mm walls and a finger ridge for pulling. Print it upright in PETG, or TPU for extra grip.

Measuring two diameters is all SpeakCAD needs to produce a cuff for your brand and model, no part number required. If the fit is too tight after a test print, ask for 0.2 mm more clearance and try again. The preview is free in the browser.

Design a vacuum hose cuff 60 mm long: hose side 25 mm long with 38.5 mm inner diameter and internal ribs for a corrugated hose, tool side 30 mm long tapering from 34.8 to 34.5 mm outer diameter, 2.5 mm walls, and a 4 mm finger ridge.

Change any number to match what you measured. The AI keeps the rest of the design consistent, and small follow-up edits after a download are free.
