Type 2 EV charging plug holster with cable hook

A garage holster that receives the Type 2 (Mennekes) plug of a home wallbox or granny cable so the pins stay dry and the cable hangs in a loop below. The Type 2 plug face is about 70 mm across with a flat top, so the socket is a 71 mm D-shaped bore 50 mm deep with 0.5 mm clearance and a 3 mm drain slot at the bottom. Beneath it a 60 mm wide hook with a 30 mm radius holds ten metres of 32 A cable. The body is 5 mm thick, uses two 6 mm screw holes on a 100 mm pitch, and prints upright in PETG or ASA so the socket needs no supports.

Plug shells vary between Tesla, Ohme, Wallbox and Zaptec cables, so a holster copied from the internet may not seat. In SpeakCAD you describe your plug and cable diameter, preview the holster in the browser without paying, adjust it in the chat, and download the STL.
