Roborock S8 dock threshold ramp for door sills
A gentle ramp that lets a Roborock S8, S7 MaxV or Q Revo climb a 20 to 25 mm door threshold that otherwise stops it dead, and a matching wedge that levels the dock on a sloped floor. The ramp is 300 mm wide and 200 mm long rising to 22 mm at a 6 degree slope, with 1 mm ribs across the surface every 10 mm for traction and a 3 mm edge lip that sits over the sill so the robot's cliff sensors see a continuous floor. It is hollow with 2 mm walls and prints flat in PETG or TPU; a strip of double-sided tape recess is moulded into the underside.
Roborock's recommended maximum climb is 20 mm, and the right ramp angle depends on your sill. In SpeakCAD you give the threshold height and width, preview the ramp in the browser without paying, add a second ramp for a Roomba j7 in the chat, and download the STL.
Create a threshold ramp 300 mm wide and 200 mm long rising from 2 mm to 22 mm at a 6 degree slope, with 1 mm traction ribs every 10 mm, a 3 mm overhanging lip at the tall end, 2 mm walls, a hollow interior and a 20 by 1 mm tape recess underneath.
