RC car body post extension
Body post extensions raise an RC car shell to clear larger tyres or a taller chassis, and the stock posts are rarely long enough. A typical extension is a 6 mm diameter tube 30 mm long with a 3.2 mm through bore for the body clip pin, a 12 mm hex base that seats over the original post, and a 3 mm cross hole every 10 mm for clip height adjustment. Printing vertically in PETG or nylon keeps the pin holes round and the post tough enough for crashes.
