Philips Hue dimmer switch magnetic wall plate
A replacement wall plate for the Philips Hue dimmer switch, a remote about 115 x 35 mm that normally clicks onto a stock plate. This plate is 120 x 40 x 4 mm with a 1 mm raised lip that locates the remote and four 10 x 2 mm pockets for neodymium disc magnets that hold it flat while still letting it lift off. Two 4 mm countersunk holes at 60 mm spacing match a standard European pattress, and a rear recess takes a 3M strip for rented walls. Corners have a 3 mm radius so it blends with existing switch plates. Print it face down for a smooth front.
