Garmin Varia radar mount for aero seatpost

The rubber band mount supplied with the Garmin Varia RTL515 and RCT715 is designed for round posts and sits crooked on the D-shaped aero seatposts found on Canyon, Trek and Specialized road bikes. This mount has a cradle shaped to the flat back of the post, two 20 mm slots for a hook-and-loop strap, and a Garmin quarter-turn socket angled 17 degrees so the radar hangs vertical on a typical 73 degree seat tube. Walls are 3 mm, the socket tabs match the Varia's own mount, and a thin 1.5 mm TPU pad or a strip of rubber stops slipping on carbon.

Every aero post has a different width and curvature, so a generic part rocks and the radar misreads. Tell SpeakCAD the post width, depth and your seat tube angle, preview the cradle free in the browser, fine-tune the fit in the chat, then download the STL and print it in PETG.

Design a Garmin Varia radar mount for an aero seatpost 30 mm wide and 55 mm deep with a D-shaped cradle 3 mm thick, two 20 mm strap slots, and a Garmin quarter-turn socket tilted 17 degrees rearward so the radar hangs vertical.

Change any number to match what you measured. The AI keeps the rest of the design consistent, and small follow-up edits after a download are free.
