Dremel 4000 plunge router base with depth stop
A small router base that threads onto the nose of a Dremel 4000, 3000 or 8220 so the tool can cut inlays, dados and hinge recesses with a 3.2 mm shank bit. The Dremel nose has a 3/4 inch 12 TPI thread (about 19 mm), so the base carries a matching modelled thread 10 mm long, two 8 mm guide posts 60 mm apart, and a 90 by 90 mm sole with a 20 mm centre opening and a 45 degree bevelled edge for visibility. Depth is set by an M4 thumbscrew clamping a sliding collar; print the sole flat in PETG with 4 perimeters, and the threaded collar upright at 0.12 mm layers.
