Makita 18V LXT drill depth stop dust collector cup
A clear dust cup that slides over a masonry or wood bit on a Makita DHP484 or DHP486 18V LXT drill, sets the drilling depth and catches the debris before it hits the floor. The cup is a 40 mm bell with a 1.5 mm wall and a bit collar bored 6.5, 8.5 or 10.5 mm to suit the common wall-plug sizes, gripped by a 1 mm split and a small zip-tie groove so it stays where you set it. A 45 mm spring-free skirt compresses against the wall face; the cup body is printed upright in PETG or clear PLA with no supports.
Universal cups slop about on the bit and give no real depth stop. In SpeakCAD you give the bit diameter and desired depth, preview the cup in the browser without paying, ask for a set covering 6 to 12 mm in the chat, and download the STL.
Model a drill dust cup as a bell 40 mm in diameter and 45 mm tall with 1.5 mm walls, a top collar 14 mm long with an 8.5 mm bore and a 1 mm axial split, a 3 mm zip-tie groove around the collar, and a 2 mm rounded skirt at the open end.
