# From a ready-made model to a printed part in your mailbox

> Pick a model in the SpeakCAD library or marketplace, adjust its size if you need to, and order it printed and delivered. Makers earn on every print of their models.

Not every part needs designing. The SpeakCAD [library](/library) holds ready-made models of the parts people need most (holders, brackets, organisers, enclosures, adapters), and the [marketplace](/marketplace) has models other makers designed and sell for a few credits. Both can now be printed and delivered without downloading anything.

## From the library

Open a model's page and press "Don't have a printer? Print it". You sign in, the model is sliced on a print-farm printer, and the price appears with tracked delivery. Choose PLA or PETG, a colour and how many, and pay.

Most library models are parametric: their dimensions are numbers you can change. If the standard size is not yours (the holder is for a 32 mm pipe and yours is 35), open the model in the editor first, type the new number in the dimensions panel (free), and order the print from the editor's Download button. The changed model is the one that gets printed.

## From the marketplace

A marketplace model's page has the same "Print it for me" button under the price. The model's credit price is added to the print price, and its maker earns those credits, as on a download. Like the library, a marketplace model you bought opens in the editor to adjust before you order the print.

## What it costs

The same as any print: the grams, the printing time and the setup, then tracked shipping to your country once per order. A small part starts at $9.99 plus $8.00 shipping in the United States (€9.99 plus €9.00 in the euro area); a batch of the same part costs far less per piece, up to 100 per order.

## When to download instead

If you own a printer, download the STL, 3MF or G-code and print it yourself: a library model shaped only by hand downloads free. Keep the print service for when the printer is busy, the material is one you don't have, or you need twenty.

Made to order, so it can't be returned; if we can't deliver it, or it arrives broken, the full price comes back as SpeakCAD credits.

### Can I order a print of a SpeakCAD library model?

Yes. Every ready-made library model has a Print it button: it is sliced, priced with tracked delivery, and printed by a print farm, then delivered. You can change its dimensions in the editor first.

### Do marketplace makers earn when their model is printed?

Yes. A marketplace model's credit price is added to the print price and goes to its maker, as on a download.
